The Consultation

During this on-site visit we walk your property together and pay attention to the elements that matter — the shifting light, the natural patterns, and the quiet corners with potential. We talk about how you use your space today, what isn't working, and the experiences you want to create.
You'll leave with clarity, direction, and a detailed design fee proposal tailored to your property.

From what we learn in the consultation, we craft a design that balances structure with softness — using considered plantings and natural materials to create spaces that feel grounded and connected to place. Fees are quoted after the consultation based on the scope of your property.

The process
From first walk to finished ground.
A considered, stage-by-stage approach — so you always know where we are, what comes next, and what to expect.

Initial Consultation
We meet on your property to walk the land, share the vision for your outdoor living, and understand how you want to use the space. You receive a detailed design fee proposal after our conversation.
$250 consultation fee

Site Study
Once the design fee is accepted, we return to take measurements, photographs, and notes — building an accurate base plan and gathering everything needed to design with intention.
50% of design fee due

Design Presentation
The master plan is presented in person. After our discussion and any refinements, a final design package is prepared — including planting plan, plant list, materials, and recommended trades. Two revisions are included in the package.

Trade Coordination
We are not general contracting the job. We bring in preferred trades for the aspects of installation you want handled, and keep the design intent clear through the build — so nothing gets lost in translation.
On-site meetings billed hourly

Installation Support
For clients who'd like us involved through installation, we oversee physical layout, plant placement, and material selections on the ground — protecting the integrity of the design.
